On this day, the very large market is quite an experience, and we will also celebrate the 121st edition of Agriculture Day Alkmaar. Agriculture Day is changing and growing into a day on which the agricultural, food, and education sectors around Alkmaar show what they have to offer. With a focus on technology, innovations, nature management, food and food processing, but also on traditions and conviviality. For more information, see: https://alkmaarprachtstad.nl/landbouwdag

What was done last winter:

Winter 2025/2026: Ben and Remco from Co Dienstverlening, have added Field L to Field M, creating campervan pitches. If you want to pitch together with friends and you have a caravan and a campervan, you can also book Field M. Please note that the numbering has changed as a result. It now runs from 90 to 119, so check the new map carefully for your correct pitch. The power supply has also been adjusted and improved significantly. The power mushrooms have been removed, and each pitch now has its own power point (except for P). Ben has installed a number of new electrical wires, giving many pitches their own connections. We are now better prepared for our future plans for power consumption. You may not be able to see this; it was a major job.

The interior of sanitary building no. 2 has been completely painted, and it looks fresh again! This was done by Tom van Leen Schilderwerken. There are also new skylights installed by Ben and Ed Maat of Maat Bouwbedrijf.

A roof has been built on sanitary building 3, so rain no longer gets in and you can use the toilet dry.
This is partly due to the design and work of Ivan Koot of Allround klusbedrijf Koot.

Cranes on the C field have been converted into permanent cranes, so no more hassle with deposits and keys.

The trees were pruned by true tree experts from Barend Min MinRigs Boomverzorging and his crew, and were pruned properly by Niels Way Mini-contractwerk.

Those who participated in the 4-day march and stayed at the campsite received a cool green shirt.
It read: "We're sleeping at Camping Alkmaar."
You could also buy this super cute shirt.

Winter 2024/2025: Ben and Remco from Co Dienstverlening, have built a new pétanque court!
There is now more parking space, and the paving has been replaced.
The trees have been pruned by true tree experts from Barend Min and Jan Hes, Loon- en Aannemersbedrijf. Four trees had to be halved because they were dangerously branched and torn off. A lamppost has been added to field C. New hedges have been planted for the road and from the parking lot to the tent pitches. Bumpers have been installed on field O to prevent people from parking on the grass. The small restroom building has been moved from the back to the front, near the tractor cabs.
A new restroom building has been installed in its former location, with toilets, sinks, a baby bath, a washing machine, dryer, and a chemical toilet disposal point. Bumpers have been installed at the existing sanitary building, because a fence has been placed there and there is now less nuisance from the wind (thanks to Peter Crandeland and Co Dienstverlening). And in that sanitary building, 4 new showers have been installed by Joris Beentjes. Also new washbasin taps inside and shower controls, for better functional operation and savings.

In the winter of 2023/2024, we renovated pitches H and J.
This has become a beautiful H-Camper comfort pitch.
This was done in collaboration with GP-Groot and Jan Hes, Loon- en Aannemersbedrijf.
We also installed new camper disposal points from CamperClean in 2024.
This was done in collaboration with Joris Beentjes, who connects everything.

By the end of 2023, the reception area had already been expanded (thanks to Peter Crandel of Tenthuisje.com), and the following winter we finished everything beautifully. A roller shutter was also installed so guests can view the brochures in the evening.

And Beku Krommenie laid the flooring and installed the beautiful sun blinds (character).
To avoid confusion, a new numbering system was introduced in 2024 for all pitches, which now have their own number.

In 2023 and 2024, we renovated the interiors of several hiker's cabins. Cabins 0, 1, and 2 have now become double cabins.
The beautiful fence along the road was installed byPrefabpoorten.nl / smederijbeentjes, and soon, lights will be installed in the sidewalk to beautifully illuminate the entire complex.

In 2022, hot pipes were installed on the restroom building!
This and much more was done by Joris Beentjes Installations!
HOB Heiloo is the printing company for our signs and clothing, such as vests, sweaters, and T-shirts with our logo. It's fantastic, and we're very happy with it.

Marleen Bos took the beautiful photos of the campsite for our website, as well as the drone video.

The year 2026 runs until October 5th due to family celebrations.
